Heard the one about the open-minded Leftist? Yeah…neither did I. In the week following the January 6th rally in DC, intended to show those inside the Beltway that 75,000,000 Americans are none too happy with politicians, don’t trust the government, and believe the election was stolen, the good news is “They got the message.” The bad news? Leftists have decided to throw their weight around, attempting to silence a sitting President (Twitter, Facebook, et al), punish companies that dare share Conservative viewpoints (Parler, Gab, et al) and kill the livelihoods of thousands who worked for companies sympathetic to Conservative views.
So, what do these high-minded, holier-than-thou types like Google, Apple, Nike, BMW, Lacoste, and Nintendo do, when they aren’t trying to silence Conservatives and ban them from existence? Why, they hire slave labor in China, of course. Heard of the Uyghurs and Kazakhs? Yeah, they are those messy, ethnic minorities in China that the ChiComs wish would just no longer exist. So they’ve forced them into “Reeducation Centers” (Coming Soon to a USA near you, courtesy of Jo En Biden!) and forced them to work making sneakers, TVs, selfie cameras, et cetera. Oh, and split up families, raped women, turned kids against parents, and generally ruined the lives of millions of their own citizens.
This, of course, is A-Ok, peachy-keen with the Leftist Set, because, hey, they get to make lots of money (cheap labor) and can learn from the ChiComs how to deal with dissent.
So, all you folks that bought into the media narrative that Trump was “Orange Man Bad” and couldn’t wait to vote for ABT (Anybody BUT Trump)? Thanks. You’ve put a guy who is OWNED by the ChiComs into the White House. And because you folks in Georgia handed the Senate to the Democrats, we have no real way to pump the brakes on the Leftist, Big Tech oligarchs who want to single out anybody who supports Trump or Conservative viewpoints and punish them. Excellent job, people. Really excellent. But hey – when they determine that you’re not a Right-Thinking Party Member, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
You can blame Georgia for the Dems taking over the Senate if you want to, but Texas needs to take what happened in Georgia to heart. For years, the government in Georgia has done all they can to beg, entice, and bribe industries to set up operations Georgia. So now we have the North American HQ of two luxury car companies, the nation’s third largest film industry, a large Amazon presence, an expanding state university system, a huge media and communications industry, and many major companies with HQs in the Atlanta metro area. And with all these transplanted industries came the blue-staters that run them. There are some counties in the Atlanta area that are just as blue as those in California or New York. And like rot in a barrel of apples, it’s spreading.
I see articles about companies fleeing California for Texas. They’re usually accompanied by comments to the effect that more need to move out of California to show the state they can’t push people around. Just remember though… when the jobs move, usually a lot of the people who hold them move with them, bringing all their political baggage with them. Austin is already deep blue. It won’t be long before the other large cities fall, too (if they haven’t already). It’s like COVID, but there’s no vaccine for the creeping liberalism that’s spreading. We can only hope that enough districts come to their senses to take back the House in two years — assuming there hasn’t already been irreparable damage done to our Republic by then.
